What does the word Hapiloons mean?

E-mail Print PDF
Hapi-loon [hap-i-loon]

-noun
a quantity of experienced happyness, often symbolised by a smily face :)

Use:
As this is a quantity that is experianced, rather than transfered, use is often done to exaggerate one's own happiness, or to put in perspective exactly how happy one is during this moment, compared to another.

Use in a sentance:
  • Sunshine makes me so happy, like 500 million hapiloons, that's pretty happy.
  • I won a car! 80 hapiloons!
  • I had the best day today, it was a 60 quadrazillion hapiloon day!
  • Yesturday was pretty boring, only 15 hapiloons, but today, you're here, 6000 hapiloons!

Who Thought of this and how has it come about?

Andrew_23
In 2004 Andrew Betts was thinking about quantifying things. After a short time he realised there was no way to directly compare how happy you are at one time, compared to another time. The word Hapiloons was invented.

In the time after this Andrew became very focused on happiness and positivity. Andrew changed and became far more positive. After a period of time Andrew noticed that his friends had all changed their ways and become more positive too.

A little while later Andrew became interested in self improvement. Being able to learn faster, know more, be happier, and be able to achieve more with less effort, it seemed great. During this process, things that were learned were introduced to others, with varied responses. By 2009 Andrew became very focused on sharing all the beneficial knowledge with others that have open minds, so much so that the website Hapiloons.com was created.
